KUIFKOPVISVANGER – where you can experience the tranquility of a farm. Relax on the porch with a book, binoculars or a glass of wine while the waters and the birds of the Bergriver mesmerize you.

You will see from the big Pelicans to the small Little Stints and if you allow it they will entertain you the whole day while looking for something to forage.

As the son rays disappear on the horizon, lit the fire to braai your catch of the day. While you wait for the coals, take a stroll to the river and listen… be still and allow the sounds of the early evening flood your senses. Look at the sky, the sunset colours will fill you with wonder and awe.

If you listen carefully you will hear the owls as they wake to start hunting. The creators of the night is out and it’s time to finish the braai as the moon rises.

For a special treat we allow the Springboks to wonder between the cottages and campsites, just to make your stay more special. They are shy and will every now and then look over their shoulders to make sure you are not following them.
